This tutorial will show you how to Jailbreak iOS 12 using the latest Chimera Jailbreak Tool.
Chimera is the latest tool which will allow you to Jailbreak your iPhone ,iPod or iPad. The following devices are compatible:
- iPhone XS Max, XS, XR
- iPad Pro 2018
A7 – A11:
- iPhone X, 8 Pus, 8, 7 Plus, 7, SE, 6S Plus, and 6S (A9 – A11)
- iPhone 6 Plus, 6, and iPhone 5S (A7 – A8)
- iPad Air 1 / 2 and 5th-gen iPad
- iPad Mini 4, 3, and 2
- iPad Pro: all models, but 2018
- iPod Touch 6th-gen
Lets get started!
Before we start, we need to download a few files. The links below will take you to the download page.
Step 1: Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer via a standard USB cable and ensure iTunes recognized your iDevice.
If iTunes doesn’t, you’ll need to establish a connection by tapping “Trust” on your iDevice and “Continue” inside iTunes.
Step 2: Quit iTunes and launch Cydia Impactor , make sure that your iOS device is recognized by Cydia Impactor and that it’s selected in the top drop-down menu, then drag the Chimera .ipa into the Cydia Impactor interface.
Step 3: Input your Apple ID, followed by your password and click “OK”. This step simply uses Apple’s own self-signing service. Your information is neither collected by Saurik.

Step 4: Once the Chimera A12 Jailbreak iOS is installed, open the Settings app. Navigate to General > Device Management. From there find your Apple ID certificate (it was used to sign the jailbreak app in the previous step), tap it, and tap “Trust” two times.

Step 5: Open the Chimera app on your iDevice and tap the jailbreak button. Your iDevice will the reboot.
Step 6: When your iDevice comes back, open the Chimera app again and tap jailbreak once more. At this point, the A12 jailbreak iOS 12.1.2 process is now complete.
